Board games

Board games have spent many years developing into the versions we still play today.

With games dating back to 3000BC in Egypt and Persia, where complex games existed in a time of culture and play, to the medieval era and Victorian games with boards, dice and card play, there is so many to think about.

Games on boards using pieces such as dice and cards have been loved the world over and by all ages since the dawn of civilisation.

Notable classics include Backgammon, chess and draughts through to the more modern global games like Monopoly.

If you would like to send us any more board games ideas from the ones you loved, we would be delighted to add them to the site - please follow the three steps to do this.
